I was left with no option as I thought what could possibly be her reasons for asking me to "go and sleep?" Inside me I was bittered and wished all that happened did not. I then device a means to get her attention. I had remembered what actually made us talk in the first instance, my way of communicating with all the hens that wandered about in my street. I made the first attempt to crow as a cock but this time it was not as the usual way when I was a king in that field. I tried the second crow but this time it was great as I got my form in the crowing business.
Waiting for over forty minutes since my arrival at her gate, I heard the door to the house open from inside. What will possibly be my response or reason for showing up at this point after all that transpired and my confession speech to my aunt?
I was fast to think of a way out, a way I never expected would have come up at that point in time...I went inside the compound and was able to beat all the dazzling questions that came up from my aunt and her friend.
