CLASFON Press: Can we meet you?
Lady_K: I am Karimot Odebode, also known as Lady_kay. A part 4 student of the prestigious faculty of Law and also an aspirant for the office of the President of the Law Student Society.
CLASFON Press: To you what does LSS presidency entail?
Lasy_K: LSS presidency is more than the office or the name. It is the ability to make impact and produce effective result for the society member.
The LSS presidency is not just a seat, it is a MISSION which must be fulfilled.
CLASFON Press: What do you think makes you different from other presidential aspirants?
Lady_K: First of all, I am Karimot Odebode and that is enough difference. The Lady_kay I know is driven by impact and service which she wants to use in producing great result for our society.
CLASFON Press: If elected, what would you do differently from the past LSS presidents?
Lady_K: We can't deny the fact that past presidents have laid a good precedent for us. If elected, we will thrive on continuity and innovation.
No idea is novel, it is your ability to make yours unique. We will restrategize to create better student experience for our society members.
CLASFON Press: What do you have to say about the allegations flying around about you? (The recent publication online)
Lady_K: The recent allegations I saw was one accusing me of being a feminist. We should look at it this way, what is feminism? If your definition of feminism is giving every gender the opportunity to thrive and make impact, then I see no fuss about it.
Every gender deserves to be heard and given opportunity, if that is what you call feminism, then.
CLASFON Press: If you were not contesting for this post, which of the other candidates would you have supported? Why?
Lady_K: I am in the race and there is no second thought about that. As it stands now, my belief, support and vote goes to Karimot Odebode alone and no one else's.
CLASFON Press: What practical things can you say members of the society should look up to within 100 days in office?
Lady_K: 100 days is enough time by God's grace to achieve half of our manifesto. We will strive hard to fulfil half of our promise to the society. That is practical.
CLASFON Press: What do you consider the major setback in LSS and how do you tend to deal with it?
Lady_K: Every executive member that have mounted the seat of leadership have one way or the other done his/her own best.
What we need to do is to thrive on that by embracing Continuity and Innovation for the betterment of our society.
CLASFON Press: Thanks for having us.
Lady_K: Thank you so much for the opportunity.
