CLASFON Press: Can we meet you?
Standard: I am ADENIYI FALADE STANDARD, a 400 Level Law Undergraduate, and the Key Ambassador of the Standard Rejuvenations Project
Clasfon Press: To you what does LSS presidency entail?
Standard: According to Section 7 (1) paragraphs a-j of the Constitution of the Law Students Society, the Office of the Presidency of the Law Students Society entails Coordination, Collectiveness, Vision and Inspiration, through Historical Administrative Precedence and Team Work with other Executive members.
CLASFON Press: What do you think makes you different from other presidential aspirants?
Standard: I am known for having a listening ear. I am very resolute and more decisive and I believe I have a stronger passion and view towards Selfless Service.
Apart from those, I have served as a Class Administrator for a number of four (4) years, giving me a proper and fundamental preparation towards Governance and Leadership
CLASFON Press: If elected, what would you do differently from the past LSS presidents?
Standard: Giving a structural and intensive look at my manifesto, you would see that everything included therein is a group of new and different innovations, as compared to the time past, geared towards having a rejuvenated and Standard Law Students' Society.
The plans in our manifesto are enough condition precedents to show forth that we are making difference in art and service, complementing the ordeals and Impacts of our Presidents in the past.
CLASFON Press: What do you have to say about the allegations flying around about you? (The recent publication online)
Standard: Well, it has been defined that propaganda is a subtle lie, and it's the ethics of Politics, that such propagandas to be tackled intellectually and constructively, through a rejoinder.
To this end, I have been able to refute all false propagandas against me, bothering on incompetency and lack of leadership skills. These allegations were debunked by some of the conscious members in my class, the Mavericks Team, who jointly wrote an article, listing all my visible achievements and accomplishments as a Class Governor for 4 years, and thereby boldly ascertaining and endorsing my Competence as one who can steer the ship of the Law Students' Society.
CLASFON Press: If you were not contesting for this post, which of the other candidates would you have supported? Why?
Standard: Hmm...well, I am a very objective person.
If I were not a contestant in this upcoming Election, I would have supported anyone who has a good dream enough for the Law Students' Society.
My decisions are not based on sentiments, personal affiliation nor based on reference for a Candidate who has a very good time-play of politics and public campaign. I believe Leadership is far more than that, anybody having a sincerest intention to serve would I support.
CLASFON Press: What practical things can you say members of the society should look up to within 100 days in office?
Standard: In the next 100 days, in my Administration as the President of the Law Students Society, God's willing, I want to have a chest-beat assurance that the Law Students' Society has been raised to a Zenith, where all departments can always look up to, as a Touchstone for developments and innovations.
For example, it's my Vision that in the next 100 days of my Administration, all Law Students would start speaking fluently, at least one Foreign language, either French, German or Portuguese, aside English language which has become the lingua franca for even a lay-man.
CLASFON Press: What do you consider the major setback in LSS and how do you tend to deal with it?
Standard: Well, I don't record setbacks or inactions, rather I look at several improvisations that need to be put in place.
It's trite that every administration will always have it's pros and cons, but it's the duty of each upcoming administration to ensure continuity and improvements of administrative and innovative strides, vis-a-vis the relentless pursue of Excellence in Leadership.
In my Administration, these and many more would suffice as preparations have been solidly made.
CLASFON Press:Thanks for having us.
We would appreciate if we can get your response on or before 9am.
Standard: You are welcome
